Pipo Perico Crispy Air-Fryer Wings (Honey-Lime Glaze)

Pipo Perico Crispy Air-Fryer Wings (Honey-Lime Glaze)

Servings: 4
Prep: 10 min • Cook: 22–26 min • Total: 32–36 min

Ingredients

  • Pipo Perico Hot Sauce — 3–4 tbsp

  • 2 lbs chicken wings, flats & drumettes

  • 1 tbsp honey or agave

  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice (plus wedges to serve)

  • 1 tbsp neutral oil

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika (optional)

  • 1 tsp kosher salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1 tbsp aluminum-free baking powder (for extra crisp)

  • Chopped cilantro, for garnish

Directions

  1. Pat wings very dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, toss wings with baking powder, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika.

  2. Lightly oil the air-fryer basket. Arrange wings in a single layer (work in batches as needed). Air-fry at 390°F (200°C) for 22–26 minutes, flipping at the halfway mark, until deeply golden and crisp.

  3. While wings cook, whisk Pipo Perico, honey, lime juice, and oil in a large clean bowl.

  4. Toss hot wings in the Pipo Perico glaze until glossy. Garnish with cilantro and serve with lime wedges.

  5. Heat level hack: drizzle an extra spoonful of Pipo Perico over the platter right before serving.
