Ingredients:
For the Meatballs:
- 2 tbsp Chipotle Pipo Perico Hot Sauce
- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- ½ tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp olive oil
For the Chipotle Honey Glaze:
- ¼ cup Chipotle Pipo Perico Hot Sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan cheese, garlic, parsley, onion powder, salt, pepper, and 2 tablespoons of Chipotle Pipo Perico Hot Sauce.
- Mix gently until just combined and form into 18–20 meatballs.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and cook the meatballs for 12–15 minutes, turning occasionally until browned and cooked through.
- While the meatballs cook, combine Chipotle Pipo Perico Hot Sauce, honey, butter, and apple cider vinegar in a small saucepan. Simmer over low heat for 2–3 minutes, stirring until the glaze is smooth and glossy.
- Add the cooked meatballs to the saucepan and gently toss until each meatball is evenly coated with the Chipotle Honey Glaze.
- Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
